Fundamental Fizzix offers Summary Notes and success criteria for each part of the National Courses. These are resources available separately but collated here. This is intended only as support for pupils working through these courses.

Advice for best success

  • Construct a timetable for your study. Not just for Physics but for all subjects. This was you will know exactly what you have covered and in what depth.
  • If you are unsure about a topic or area, ask for help immediately, refer to your candidate specification, it contain all the outcomes for the course and lots more information too.
  • Carry out practice questions and refer to the solutions. It might seem strange but sometimes the best way to be successful is just to try it the way you will be tested. You don't need to "learn the test" but it might help to realise what you need to put lots of information into and what only needs a brief look.
  • Remember to take a SHORT break. Go outside, go for a walk, do something different. You can't stay fully focused all the day long. However, don't let the break end up being longer than your productive study time.
